Counselors, Welcome to NATS...

On behalf of the American School Counselor Association, I am pleased to welcome you to the NATS website.

ASCA supports NATS as a valuable educational resource that will assist you in counseling your high school student-athletes most effectively.

NATS provides you, for the first time, with a single location to obtain complete up-to-date and critical information regarding NCAA academic eligibility guidelines and NCAA Eligibility Center rules.

NATS also fosters student-athlete academic awareness through its unique web-based interactive educational tools such as the NATS TeamMate Core Course Calculator, which enables students, beginning as early as their freshman year, to track their academic progress each semester to be sure they will successfully meet NCAA academic eligibility requirements.

I believe you will find the NATS Web site to be a valuable and useful addition to your counseling resources when advising students who are pursuing both academics and athletics at the college level.
